Understanding the research and what it could mean for people with ME/CFS
DISCOVER-ME brings together researchers, clinicians and patients across Europe and Canada to investigate the biological mechanisms of ME/CFS and work towards better tools for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.
A major European research initiative focused on ME/CFS
DISCOVER-ME is investigating the biological mechanisms underlying ME/CFS. The project aims to identify and validate biological markers, better understand differences between patients, and support the development of improved approaches to diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.
Patients are involved throughout the project, helping to ensure that the research reflects the priorities and experiences of people with ME/CFS.
